Bryan Ingram

A southern gentleman from Columbia, South Carolina, Bryan Ingram has always loved dance. In fact, he spent most of his free time since childhood utilizing opportunities to perform, develop original choreography, and teach others. Bryan began his official journey into the dance world while earning a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Despite having a later start with traditional training, at the age of 21, he quickly developed specialties in Modern, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Contemporary. While studying at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC, Bryan trained under influential instructors including Sandra Neels (former dancer of Merce Cunningham in New York City) and Marcus Alford (former dancer of the Gus Giordano Dance Co. in Chicago). He also was invited to complete a variety of intensives and master classes with the likes of Paul Taylor, Amy Marshall, Garth Fagan, and Christian Von Howard, in addition to master classes with the Alvin Ailey and Pilobolus Dance Companies.

In 2006, Bryan extended his professional career by performing in televised productions and with various dance companies in the Charlotte, North Carolina metropolitan area. Upon his graduation from college, he began performing abroad while working with various cruise lines (Royal Caribbean, Ltd., Norwegian Cruise Line, and Princess Cruises). After several years, his talents led him to a residential position working for Busch Gardens: Williamsburg (SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment under Bob Cline Casting), both performing and serving as choreography assistant to world-renowned Broadway choreographers and performers including Chase Brock (Spider-Man), Brad Bradley (Billy Elliot), Lisa Shiver (Jesus Christ Superstar), Karma Camp (Kiss of the Spiderwoman), and Matt West (Disney’s Beauty and the Beast).

To date, he has performed in over 15 countries, across six continents. Since his transition to Texas, Bryan has danced with companies and ensembles in the local DFW area such as Casa Mañana (West Side Story) and Arlington Music Hall (ChristmaSpectacular!). As the owner of Dance Axiom, Bryan has the expertise, determination, understanding, and compassion to assist each of our dancers to expand their knowledge in various dance styles as well as develop their artistry to a professional level whether they want to be professional or not.

Abbie Norkett

Mrs. Abbie Norkett is a Fort Worth native and received her early dance training from North Central Ballet, under Les Jordan III, and later Ballet Academy of Texas, under Lisa Slagle. During these years, she was a member of both school’s student performing companies.  Upon graduation from high school, Abbie attended the University of Arizona and studied ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, and tap on scholarship. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Arts with other academic honors.  Mrs. Abbie has attended many summer intensives with American Ballet Theater, Ballet Austin, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts Camp, and the Radio City Rockettes, many of which on merit scholarship. She has also won awards through Regional Dance America, Youth American Grand Prix, and the PULSE! On Tour Convention. Mrs. Abbie is a middle school teacher in Keller ISD. This is her third year with Dance Axiom and she couldn’t be happier to be back!

Rachel Seldon

Rachel Seldon

Mrs. Rachel Seldon was born and raised in the Mid-Cities and began dancing at the age of 3. Over the years, she has trained in many styles including Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Lyrical Hip Hop and Clogging. She competed at both the regional and National level as a part of her studio’s Competition Dance Company winning numerous awards and titles. During this time she also trained in the Convention circuit under choreographers such as Wade Robson, Doug Caldwell, Thommie Retter, and Joe Tremaine to name a few. She was also a member of the L.D. Bell High School Raiderette Drill Team for 3 years, serving as Lieutenant her Senior year of High School.  Mrs. Rachel continued dancing in college as a member of the Texas Tech Pom Squad from 2005-2008. During this time she had the opportunity to perform for thousands of people at Nationally ranked Football and Basketball games, compete at the National Collegiate level and perform across the country.  Since graduating in 2009 with a degree in Multidisciplinary Sciences, she has been teaching and training dancers of all ages and choreographing for students across the Metroplex. Her choreography has won numerous accolades and she continues to attend Teacher Seminars as well as professional development opportunities to continue advancing her knowledge of both Dance and Dance Education to give her students the best training possible.

Chris Wilson

Chris Wilson

Mr. Chris Wilson is a Native Texan from Lewisville that has been singing and dancing for over 20 years. He attended the University of Texas at Arlington where he received his degree in Music Education and has starred in numerous commercials and various productions (i.e. Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd., and Holland America Cruise Line under Stiletto Ent.). Locally, he performed in various musicals such as RENT (OhLook Performing Arts Center), FAME (Rhythm Nation Studios), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Urban Arts Center), and Hair (Urban Arts Center) just to name a few.

Mr. Chris is extremely multi-talented where he played the Flute, Piccolo, & Clarinet in the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra and sung at various venues around the Dallas- Fort Worth metroplex (i.e. Texas Motor Speedway & Dallas Cowboy Stadium). He also performed with well renown artists such as LeAnn Rimes, Dionne Warwick, Victor Willis (Lead Singer of the Village People), Todrick Hall (YouTube and Broadway Veteran), and Scott Hoying (Pentatonix).

Aside from performing, Mr. Chris is an instructor and vocal director for various children’s programs like Dallas Summer Musicals Academy (DSMA) & iSchool High.

Erin Norton

Mrs. Erin Norton grew up in Harlingen, Texas where she quickly became a bun-head. Her second family at Rio Grand Valley Arts Studio shaped who she became as a person as well as a dancer, and the love and dedication of her teachers encouraged her to pursue a career in dance. She is now happily married living in Lewisville, Texas and earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance at The University of North Texas. Along with studio training, Erin has had additional professional preparation including two Ballet Magnificat Summer Dance Intensives, The Pulse International Tour, Colorado Mesa University Dance Intensive, and Texas Dance Improvisational Festival. She has performed in two UNT student concerts directed by Shelley Cushman and Mary Lynn Babcock along with dabbling in acting with Provoking the Princess directed by Alicia Garavaglia. She has also danced professionally under the direction of Amiti Perry. Erin’s goal for the future is to provide a safe place for young artists to express themselves as they fall in love with movement.

Chelsea Rayna

Chelsea Rayna began Tap and Tumble when she was only three years old. She studied ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, and tap with Dallas Power House of Dance and Dance Institute of Dallas, and participated in performing companies at both studios. In high school, she was accepted into the dance program at Booker. T Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (BTWHSPVA) from 9th through 12th grade. She joined two performing companies at BTWHSPVA, the African Dance Ensemble, and the World Dance Ensemble. While at BTWHSPVA she also continued dancing with Dance Institute of Dallas and began teaching jazz classes at that studio.
Chelsea graduated in 2017 from Texas Woman’s University with bachelor’s degree in psychology and with a minor in dance. During her time there, she continued as an instructor at Dance Institute of Dallas, teaching ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and African fusion and was the Director of Dance Institute of Dallas’ new Adaptive Dance Department for students with special needs. Chelsea’s passion is to bring personal growth to every student through a quality dance education.
